Local roofers, straight answers
Roofers who inspect from the roof, write the price down, and would rather repair than replace when a repair will hold.
About Nashville's Roofers
Nashville's Roofers is a roofing company serving Nashville and 64 more towns across 12 counties of Middle Tennessee — and we stake our name on how the work goes.
Roofing is the trade where the storm chasers arrive with the hail, and a homeowner with a ceiling stain has no way to tell a good roofer from a truck with a logo. We send roofers who inspect properly, document for the insurer honestly, and are still in Middle Tennessee next spring.
What we do
- Inspect from the roof. The attic and the roof surface, not the driveway; a stain on the ceiling has a cause, and it is usually flashing.
- Price the decking. A per-sheet number for rotten sheathing is in every replacement quote, because nobody knows the count until the tear-off.
- Document for the claim. Photographs, measurements and a scope the adjuster can read, so the claim covers the roof and not just the shingles.
What we will not do
- Replace what a repair will fix. A flashing leak on a fifteen-year-old roof is a repair; a roofer who says otherwise wants the bigger ticket.
- Waive your deductible. It is insurance fraud in Tennessee, and a roofer who offers it is telling you what else he will do.
- Roof over rot. New shingles on a soft deck fail inside a year and void the warranty; the deck gets fixed first, every time.
What we actually work on
What roofing companies in Nashville actually get called out for, and what each job covers.
The roofing problems Middle Tennessee homeowners bring us most often:
- Stain spreading on the ceiling
- Shingles in the yard after a storm
- Roof is 20+ years old
- Insurance wants an inspection
- Selling and it failed inspection
- Daylight visible in the attic
Who does the work
Every roofer on our crews holds the Tennessee contractor’s license the job size requires and carries liability and workers’ compensation coverage, on file with us before anyone climbs a ladder.
Beyond the paperwork, the test is how somebody handles the part of a roofing job that does not go to plan — the honest call when the estimate has to change, and whether you hear about it before the work or after. The roofers who stay with us are the ones who have passed that test on jobs we know about.
Why we do not publish reviews yet
No star ratings and no borrowed testimonials on this site: a roofing company this new claiming a hundred five-star reviews would be inventing them, and roofing already has enough of that.
Where we work
Roofers working Nashville also cover Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, and the full run is 65 towns across 12 counties. Each of the main cities has its own page — what its houses mean for roofing, who issues the permits, which neighborhoods are inside the run.
If you want to understand the work before you speak to anyone, our roofing guide covers what drives the price, what your options are and what a badly done job looks like — written so you can judge any roofer in the region, including us.
Who we are
Owned and run by Michael Blair, Nashville's Roofers puts his name behind each claim on these pages. They rest on shingle manufacturers’ installation documentation, Tennessee code and established roofing practice, and are corrected when any of those are updated; posts show his byline and the date. Each roofer we put on a job holds a license and insurance and is held to the commitments set out here; Nashville's Roofers stands behind every roof.
Whoever you hire for the roof, check them: verify.tn.gov confirms a Tennessee contractor’s license, the certificate of insurance should be in your hands before a shingle comes off, and your town’s permit office is listed on its city page.
